Establishment of the Young Talent Team in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shandong Province

The "Green, Low-carbon, and High-quality Development Research" team has been successfully selected for the Young Talent Teams in Philosophy and Social Sciences, approved by the Federation of Social Sciences of Shandong Province. The program is designed to advance social science research in China and foster the growth of young scholars. The Institute of Blue and Green Development will implement promotion policies to support the team.

The "Green, Low-carbon, High-quality Development Research " team is led by Professor Chao Wang, with members including Prof. Ning Zhang, Prof. Jiashuo Li, and Prof. Honglin Zhong. Grounded in the concept of "Ecological civilization, beautiful China", the team focuses on addressing critical national needs, such as the strategic development of the ocean and the green and low-carbon transition of the economy. The team has published over a dozen papers in prestigious journals such as Science, Nature, and Economic Research. Additionally, the team has hosted several major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation.
