2024 Cambridge Sustainability Forum

发布时间:2024年02月29日

In the new era of global economic sustainable development, green development and low-carbon transition have become key topics. To further explore the development potential in these areas and promote global exchange and cooperation, the Institute of Blue and Green Development at Shandong University and the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge are planning to jointly hold the “2024 Cambridge Sustainability Forum” from June 23 to 25, 2024, at the University of Cambridge, UK. This forum is a collaborative effort by the Institute of Blue and Green Development at Shandong University, the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge, Churchill College at the University of Cambridge, the CFCC Cambridge Academy, and the Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Cambridge.

It aims not only to promote international exchange and cooperation among experts and scholars in related fields but also to provide a platform for outstanding domestic and international master’s/doctoral students through the Dean’s Forum for intellectual engagement and academic work consultation. With “Green Development and Low-carbon Transition” as its theme, the forum will utilize a variety of meeting formats, such as keynote reports, session reports, editor forums, and doctoral forums, to gather the wisdom and experience of global experts and scholars to discuss this globally important issue. Exchange and sharing will be the forum’s core values, offering participants direct interaction with Cambridge faculty and students and the chance to engage in in-depth discussions with deans from renowned institutions worldwide. Additionally, the forum will feature a recruitment area, providing valuable information and opportunities for domestic and international students looking to return to their home countries, thus promoting global talent mobility and knowledge sharing.

The “2024 Cambridge Sustainability Forum” represents a significant opportunity for interdisciplinary, diversified international academic collaboration, and development in the fields of green development and low-carbon transition. We sincerely invite experts, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world to join this event and contribute to building a greener, more sustainable future.
